What Does a Professional Deep Clean Include?
A professional deep clean goes beyond routine cleaning to deal with built-up dirt and the areas that rarely get attention: limescale in bathrooms, grease in kitchens, skirting boards, door frames, light fittings and high and low surfaces. Extras such as inside the oven, inside cupboards, carpet cleaning and internal windows should be written into the quote rather than assumed, so you know exactly what is included before the clean starts.
Kitchen
Detailed cleaning of worktops, cupboard fronts, handles, splashbacks, tiles, edges and the outside of appliances. Grease around the hob and extractor is removed, and the sink and taps are descaled. Inside the oven, fridge and cupboards should be specified in the quote where required.
Bathrooms
Descaling of showers, screens, taps and tiles; detailed cleaning of baths, basins, toilets and fittings; attention to grout lines, extractor covers and the floor around the toilet.
Living areas and bedrooms
Detailed dusting of surfaces and accessible fixtures, skirting boards, door frames, radiators, light switches and sockets, followed by thorough vacuuming and hard-floor cleaning.
High and low areas
Dust and cobwebs collect above normal working height and along low edges. A deep clean allows time for these, including the tops of cupboards and door frames and the areas under furniture.
