Why the licence matters
Under your duty of care you stay legally responsible for your waste until it is handed to a licensed carrier, and fly-tipped waste traced back to you can mean a fine even though someone else dumped it. MG Executive Cleaners holds upper tier waste carrier registration CBDU644808, valid to June 2029, and we issue a waste transfer note for every collection. That note is your evidence.
If you are getting quotes from elsewhere, ask for the registration number and check it on the Environment Agency public register. A cheap van with no licence is the one that costs you later.
What we cannot take
Hazardous waste, asbestos, clinical and medical waste, liquid paint, chemicals, gas bottles, tyres, and fridges or freezers still containing gas all need specialist handling and separate licensing. Tell us up front if any of these are involved. We would rather say no honestly than take something we are not permitted to carry.
Clearance and cleaning together
Most of our clearance work comes attached to a clean: a tenant has left furniture behind, a property is being prepared for sale or letting, or an office is moving out. Booking both together means one visit, one price and no gap where the property sits half-finished. The clearance happens first, then the end of tenancy clean or deep clean on the emptied property, which is also when a clean gets the best result.
Recycling and disposal
We separate what can be recycled or reused rather than sending everything to landfill, and usable furniture goes to reuse where a local scheme will take it. Where a charity can take an item in good condition we will tell you rather than charging to remove it.
Where we cover
Peterborough and the PE postcodes, Nottingham and the NG postcodes, Cambridge, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Spalding, Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings. Send your postcode with the enquiry and we will confirm before quoting.
How pricing works
Priced by volume and access, as a fixed figure agreed before we attend rather than an hourly rate or a vague van load. Stairs, parking distance and whether items need dismantling all affect it, which is why photographs give you an accurate number first time.
Rubbish removal questions
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. MG Executive Cleaners holds upper tier waste carrier registration CBDU644808, valid to June 2029. Ask any firm you are considering for their registration number and check it on the Environment Agency public register before they take anything away.
Will I get a waste transfer note?
Yes, as standard. Under your household or business duty of care you remain responsible for waste until it is passed to a licensed carrier, and the transfer note is your evidence that it was. We issue one for every collection.
What cannot you take?
Hazardous waste, asbestos, clinical or medical waste, chemicals, gas bottles, tyres, paint in liquid form and fridges or freezers containing gas all need specialist disposal. Tell us if any of these are present and we will say honestly whether we can help or point you to who can.
Do you clear the whole property or just the rubbish?
Either. A clearance empties the property of furniture and belongings; a rubbish removal takes an agreed pile or set of items. Many customers book a clearance followed by a deep clean or end of tenancy clean, which we can do in one visit.
How is it priced?
By volume and access rather than by the hour, quoted as a fixed figure before we attend. Photographs make the price accurate, and you can send them on WhatsApp.
