Fast response for facilities and property managers

Reactive and emergency cleaning

Short-notice cleaning when something has gone wrong and the building cannot wait for the next scheduled visit. We work with facilities management help desks, managing agents and property owners, subject to team availability on the day.

What we are typically called out for

  • Water ingress and leak clean-up once the leak itself is fixed
  • Spillages in offices, communal areas and retail space
  • Post-incident cleaning after a break-in or vandalism
  • A failed inspection that needs putting right before a re-check
  • Void and turnaround cleans at short notice
  • Cleaning after a contractor has left a mess behind
  • Cover when a client’s own cleaner does not turn up
  • Pre-viewing and pre-handover cleans brought forward

How to request a reactive clean

Call 07482 106598 rather than emailing — for anything urgent the phone is always faster. Tell us the site postcode, what has happened, what access there is and when you need it done by. We will tell you honestly whether we can attend and when.

We will not promise a response time we cannot keep. Attendance depends on what our teams are already committed to that day. You will get a straight answer quickly, which is more use than an SLA nobody can meet.

Working with facilities management help desks

We take reactive instructions from FM help desks and managing agents, work to job reference numbers, and report back with completion notes and photographs where the system requires it. If you raise jobs through a portal, tell us how it works and we will fit in with it rather than asking you to change your process.

What we are not

We are a cleaning contractor, not a restoration or remediation company. Specialist work sits outside what we do and we will tell you straight away rather than take the job and improvise:

  • Flood and fire damage restoration, including drying and dehumidification
  • Sewage and category three water, which needs specialist contractors
  • Biohazard, trauma and needle clearance
  • Asbestos — suspected material must be assessed by a licensed specialist before anyone disturbs it
  • Mould remediation where the cause has not been fixed

Where a job needs one of those first, we will say so, and we are happy to come in afterwards for the cleaning once the specialist has finished.

Where we cover

Reactive work is realistic within about an hour of Peterborough: Deeping St James, Market Deeping, Stamford, Bourne, Spalding, Huntingdon, Cambridge, March, Wisbech and Oundle. Nottingham and Leicester are served for planned work; reactive attendance there depends on what we already have running nearby that day.

How pricing works

Reactive work is quoted per job once we know what is involved, or at an agreed rate for clients with a standing arrangement. Out-of-hours and weekend attendance is priced accordingly and stated upfront. We are not VAT registered, so the quoted figure is the figure you pay.

Reactive cleaning questions

How quickly can you attend?

It depends entirely on what our teams are doing that day. Call and we will tell you within a few minutes whether we can help and when, rather than leaving you waiting on a maybe.

Do you work weekends and evenings?

Yes. We operate seven days, 7am to 10pm, and out-of-hours attendance is quoted before we start.

Can you take instructions on a purchase order?

Yes. We work to PO numbers and job references, and invoice against them.
