Domestic and commercial window cleaning

Window cleaning, inside and out

Regular or one-off window cleaning for homes, offices, retail units and managed buildings. Glass, frames, sills and doors, cleaned inside and out, with reach-and-wash used where the site and the weather allow it.

What is included

  • External glass, cleaned by reach-and-wash pole or by hand depending on access
  • Internal glass where agreed, including inside sills and ledges
  • Frames, sills, rubbers and trickle vents wiped down
  • Front and patio doors, including the glass and the frame
  • Conservatory glass and roofs by arrangement
  • A final check for streaks and missed corners before we leave

Reach-and-wash, and when it is not the right method

Pure-water reach-and-wash gets to upper floors safely from the ground and leaves no detergent residue, which is why glass stays cleaner for longer. It needs reasonable access to the elevation and reasonable weather.

Where the method will not work well — heavy ground-floor obstruction, severe staining, or glass that needs restoration rather than cleaning — we will say so rather than do a poor job and charge for it. High-level work beyond pole reach needs its own access arrangement and is quoted separately.

Regular rounds and one-off cleans

Most domestic customers settle on every four, six or eight weeks. Commercial frontages often need monthly attention; offices and managed buildings are usually quarterly for internal glass alongside a more frequent external round.

One-off cleans are fine too, and are common before a property goes on the market, after building work, or at the end of a tenancy.

Window cleaning alongside other work

Windows are frequently booked with an end of tenancy clean, a deep clean, or an after-builders clean where the glass needs the protective film and plaster splashes removed first. Booking them together usually costs less than two separate visits.

Where we cover

Peterborough, Deeping St James, Market Deeping, Stamford, Bourne, Spalding, Oundle and the surrounding villages for domestic rounds. Commercial window cleaning extends across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

How pricing works

Domestic window cleaning is priced per visit based on the number and type of windows and how often you want us. Commercial work is quoted against the elevation, the access and the frequency. Either way the price is fixed in writing before we start, and we are not VAT registered, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay.

Window cleaning questions

Do you clean the inside as well?

Yes, where it is part of the agreed scope. Many window cleaners quote externals only, so check what you are comparing when you put two quotes side by side.

What happens if it rains?

Pure-water cleaning is not spoiled by light rain, so rounds usually go ahead. We will move a visit for high winds or anything that makes pole work unsafe.

Can you remove paint or cement splashes?

Often, yes, on an after-builders clean. Hard water staining and scratched or etched glass are different problems and may need restoration rather than cleaning. We will tell you which it is.
