What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files stored on your device by a website. Some are needed for a site to work. Others measure how a site is used, or support content from other companies.
What we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
We store one item on your device, called mg_cookie_consent, which records whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. Without it we would have to ask you on every page. This does not identify you and is not shared.
Accreditation badge
Our BICSc Corporate Member badge is supplied by Yoshki, the verification service BICSc uses, and loads on every visit rather than waiting for consent. BICSc requires members to display the "Click to Verify" badge, because it is how a visitor confirms the membership is genuine. It shows a badge and links to the BICSc verification page. If you would rather it did not load, your browser settings can block third-party content from cdn.yoshki.com.
Live Google reviews
Our home page and testimonials page show our latest Google reviews using a widget from Trustindex, and our review figures are kept up to date from the same source by our own server, so your browser does not contact Trustindex for them. Trustindex does not set cookies or store anything on your device, so it loads on every visit. Your browser connects to Trustindex (which processes data in the EU) and to Google, which supplies reviewers' profile pictures, so both receive your IP address in the normal way. If you would rather it did not load, your browser settings can block third-party content from cdn.trustindex.io.
Analytics and third-party content (only with your consent)
If we add website analytics, or advertising measurement from Microsoft Advertising (the UET tag, which tells us which adverts led to an enquiry), those services may set their own cookies. They will not load at all unless you press Accept. If you press Reject, the site works exactly as normal without them.
Changing your mind
Select "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to accept or reject again. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them.
