Post-Renovation Cleaning for Etec Group in Peterborough and London

The requirement

MG Executive Cleaners works with Etec Group on post-renovation and after-builders cleaning for commercial refurbishment projects in Peterborough and Greater London. Once refurbishment work is complete, each building needs to be returned to a clean, safe and presentable condition before staff and visitors move back in.

Refurbishment in occupied or soon-to-be-occupied buildings creates a particular challenge. Dust spreads well beyond the work area, into carpets, ventilation grilles, furniture and fittings, and the building usually has a fixed reopening date that the clean has to meet.

Scope of work

• removal of construction and refurbishment dust from offices, meeting rooms and communal areas
• hot water extraction carpet cleaning across office and training spaces
• cleaning of kitchens, kitchenettes and washrooms
• detailed cleaning of skirting, radiators, vents, doors and frames
• desk, furniture and fixture cleaning
• internal glazing and glass partitions
• final presentation checks before handover

Working in Peterborough and Greater London

This work has taken our teams beyond our Peterborough base into Greater London. Commercial refurbishment clients need a supplier who can mobilise to their sites, work to the contractor's programme and deliver the same standard in each location.

On commercial sites we coordinate access with the site team, work around remaining trades, and provide risk assessments and COSHH information where required.

What this project demonstrates

The Etec Group work shows our ability to deliver post-renovation cleaning in commercial buildings to a reopening deadline, including specialist carpet cleaning, and to support clients across more than one region.
