Buying guide
What Should Be in a Cleaning Quote?
A cleaning quote should name the tasks, the frequency, the hours, who supplies products and equipment, the insurance in place, whether operatives are employed, the total price and what happens if a task is missed. A single price with no task list is not a quote; it is a guess, and it is the main reason cleaning arrangements go wrong.

A written scope
Room by room or area by area, with tasks listed and exclusions stated. Anything assumed is where disputes start.
Frequency
Daily, weekly, monthly and periodic tasks should be separated, so you can see that bins are emptied every visit while carpets are cleaned quarterly.
Fixed price or hourly
A fixed price against a scope is easier to compare and protects you if the job takes longer than expected. Hourly rates transfer that risk to you.
Products, equipment and consumables
Who brings what, and whether consumables are included. Also any restrictions: surfaces that need particular products, allergies, pets, or site chemical rules.
Staffing
Whether operatives are employed or agency, how absence is covered, and whether you will see familiar faces.
Insurance and registration
Public liability and employers' liability levels, and waste carrier registration if waste is being removed.
What happens if something is missed
The return-visit policy and the time limit for reporting. Ours is simple: tell us within 48 hours, we review it against the agreed scope, and we return where an included task has not met the standard.
